I am very excited about our first Beit Ha’am gathering, held in Budapest, Hungary, this October.
As the Beit Ha’am program keeps growing and the Department for Diaspora Activities keeps on developing relevant and up-to-date educational content, we chose to hold our first ever European Beit Ha’am gathering this winter in order to create a platform which facilitates delving into the Jewish-Israeli-Zionist triangle and bringing up tough, important questions.
As the head of the Department for Diaspora Activities at the World Zionist Organization and a member of the Zionist Executive Board, I am proud to welcome everybody into the conversation. We are subsidizing this 3-day seminar because it is really important to us that you are there, studying with us, having fun and making new friends.
The Department for Diaspora Activities at the World Zionist Organization aims to strengthen Zionist identity and the commitment to Israel among Diaspora Jews.
The department’s staff in Jerusalem, together with our colleagues and Shlichim on 5 continents, work tirelessly to hold a wide range of activities, seminars and events, all of which aspire to bring the values of Zionism to broader audiences, especially the younger generation.
Using a 21st century language and advanced technology, and with an inclusive and pluralistic perception of Judaism and Zionism, we encourage an ongoing dialogue between the Israeli Jews and their sisters and brothers around the world.
I invite you to be part of shaping the Zionism of tomorrow,
Head of Department for Diaspora Activities
World Zionist Organization
